Architecture is sometimes associated with the enterprise-y bulk but it doesn’t have to me.  Service development can be art.  Artists can be architects.

Using microformats for serialization at the prresentation layer (YAML, JSON, Markdown,RSS, ATOM,Wikisyntax micro-XML), clear layer separation especially at the backend API level, the service level, and the presentation layer architecture can be very smart.

We will be presenting ways to add highly modularized architectures for services especially, allowing most back end code to be coded how it is pleased but the public apis and communication messages for the services and presentation layers in micro serilization formats.

When services simplify, enterprise simplification, then platforms and more markets emerge, whether the software is commercial or open source.
